The Manor Inn Grounds - Picture yourself here, surrounded by nature at its finest. ...the former estate of Commodore H. H. Raymond (a Yarmouth boy who went to the "big city" and like Horatio Alger "made good," returning to be the "Lord of the Manor.") The Manor Inn's nine acres of flowered landscaped planted in the early 1920's features a beautiful enclosed circular Rose Garden of more than 200 prized hybrid roses . The lake frontage bordering the property is rock walled and features a beach and dock for guest use. During it's time span, the Raymond Estate was the scene of many gala parties and receptions. Several famous persons were guests at the estate, including most top political figures of both the United States and Canada. Today the property is run as a country inn and we continue to offer excellence to our guests. The Rose Garden
