COMMODORE LOUNGE & PATIO
Located off the Commodore Dining Room. Many historical wall plaques and photographs allow a glimpse into the life and times of Commodore Raymond, the original owner of " Hebron Farm " and of several prominent steamship companies in the early 1920's . This is a perfect place to enjoy your favorite beverage while you relax after the adventures of the day and plan for tomorrow. On cool or rainy days you are invited to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace.

THE CELLAR
Located in the former “still”, the cellar features popular  recorded music including " East Coast " artists. During the day the Cellar is a games room  featuring a pool table, darts , ping pong  and cribbage.In the evening a full range of favorite beverages are available

GUEST APPRECIATION TIME
Each day from 4:30 to 6 pm, we offer special prices on  beer, wine,spirits and several popular cocktails along with  complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Depending on the weather and the number of guests in house, this is offered on either the patio, the Commodore Lounge or the Cellar.

                                                                                                       

BOATS, BICYCLES AND TENNIS COURT
Use of these amenities is complimentary for house guests. Tennis equipment is provided for a     $ 5. refundable deposit. Arrangements are to made through the front desk.

SWIMMING POOL AND HOT TUB
The pool is open from 9:00 a.m. to dusk  and the Hot Tub is available to midnight.. The pool gate is locked but you may open it with your pool key. Please note that children must be supervised by an adult.and are not permitted in the Hot Tub after 9pm (large photo)

CROQUET, BADMINTON,  HORSE SHOES AND FIREPIT
You may enjoy croquet on the front lawn of the Inn . Badminton & horse shoes are located behind the Lakeside Lodge. Equipment available at the front desk. There are also crib boards, magazines, novels, and videos available at the front counter.Each evening, weather permitting, a bonfire pit located next to the wharf is available for guest use.

THINGS FOR KIDS TO DO
Swimming and tennis, bike rides and ping-pong.. Free movies and a game console. Paddles and game controllers are available at the front desk on a sign-out basis. There is also a play area behind the Lakeside Lodge and a Toy Chest by the front desk filled with board games.

AFTER HOURS AND EMERGENCIES
Our front desk closes at 11:00 p.m. and the entrance to the Inn is locked. Guests staying in the Inn are provided with two keys, one of which opens the front door. If anything should occur after hours that you feel requires attention, you may contact us by dialing “208”.

TELEPHONE SERVICE
There is a $0.75 charge for local calls. Long distance calls are billed at standard rates

Various pamphlets & brochures are available at the front desk as well as our list of recommendations of things to see and do. Please feel free to ask our staff for advice. Local online sites with information about the Yarmouth area include the Yarmouth Hub, and NovaServe.

GETTING HERE

  • By Ferry: Yarmouth is accessible by 2 ferry links to Maine. During  May to Oct , the CAT ( Bay Ferries )  runs  between Portland, Maine and Yarmouth on the weekends and from Bar Harbour, Maine to Yarmouth Sunday through Thursday.   CAT-Bay Ferries (1-888-249-7245).  Bay Ferries also operates the Princess of Acadia, which runs daily between Saint John, New Brunswick and Digby, Nova Scotia which is only 60 miles ( 100 km ) from Yarmouth.
  • By Road: if you are travelling from elsewhere in Nova Scotia  you can find us in Hebron, Yarmouth County, approx. 1 mile off Highway #101 at Exit 34, or on Route #. 1 (Evangeline Trail), approx. 5 miles (8 km) northeast of  the town of Yarmouth..You may also take route # 103 to Yarmouth along the South Shore,. The Manor Inn is located approx 5 miles ( 9 km) from downtown Yarmouth.
